Former head of FTX Ventures Amy Wu has joined investment firm Menlo Ventures as a general partner to lead investments in the consumer and gaming sectors. She resigned from FTX last November due to the exchange’s liquidity crisis that eventually resulted in bankruptcy and criminal charges for its founder. Prior to this she led investments in consumer, gaming and blockchain at Lightspeed Venture Partners.
