Discoverer

I am constantly reminded to make fewer negative predictions with my future and instead to be more curious. It is good advice. Thinking this way is certainly the less anxious path, which is a good thing.

Below is a video for the new R.E.M. song, "Discoverer." It reminds me to remain curious and to keep working forward toward the future.

R.E.M. has been one of my favorite bands since they began twenty years ago. They have rocked, rolled, swung and created some of the most beguiling pop music. They have tapped my imagination, elated me and kept my attention the whole time. It is so pleasing for their new work to be in sync with my current psyche. The stars are in alignment and Providence is smiling down on me.
